"Customer service is horrible. Every time I renew my policy the price just keeps getting higher and higher.. ridiculous!!! I hate it... People are so rude!!!"

"Maria, I’m sorry to hear you’re frustrated. I understand how discouraging it can feel when premiums increase. I do want to clarify that rates are not set at the agency level. Pricing is determined by corporate and are based on a number of factors such as statewide claim trends, repair costs, underwriting adjustments, and individual risk profile changes. Unfortunately, our office does not have the ability to manually change or override those rates. That said, respectful service and clear communication are absolutely within our control! If you felt anyone in my office was rude, I would want to know more about that. If you’re open to it, I’d be happy to personally review your policy and discuss the factors impacting your renewal. I want to also address any "rude" interaction you may have had. Please let me know when we can connect. "

"Was with this agent for 7 years, had policy premiums continually increase. The final breaking point was the horrible customer service from joey at this location. State Farm is switching to a new computer system, and I was confused about my bill. Joey was extremely aggressive and rude, he cussed me out hung up on me call me back and instructed me to never call that office again which I was an active paying customer. I have recently switched to Progressive who offers great customer service and a lower monthly premium. Please do yourself a favor do not work with Sarah Whiting."

"I had an extremely negative experience with JOEY AND JAMES. After selling my vehicles, I followed the proper steps to cancel coverage—yet they deliberately delayed the cancellations. It became clear that they prioritized earning commissions over doing what’s right for their clients. Even worse, they continued to charge my account without my consent after the cancellation request had been submitted. This feels like a scam, and I urge others to stay far away from this agency."

I want to assure you that I take your feedback very seriously—especially your impression that our office would ever delay a cancellation for commission purposes. That is absolutely not how we operate, and I apologize for any frustration or confusion you experienced. Our agency is committed to following all corporate guidelines and processing cancellations promptly based on the effective dates provided. I can assure you that all cancellation documentation was submitted as requested by my office, but there is a processing time outside of my agency's control. If there was a failure to communicate how the processing of your cancellation and billing would work, I apologize. I genuinely appreciate you drawing my attention to your case specifically. "We initially liked State Farm Insurance, but after comparing different rates, we asked why theirs was higher. We were told it's because agents are paid on commission—while we work hard, they seem to be enjoying perks like golf outings at our expense. Even after we canceled our policy, our account was still charged, seemingly to cover their own expenses. Be cautious—our experience felt more like a scam than a service."

For clarity, insurance premiums are set by State Farm based on underwriting factors such as risk profile, statewide claim trends, market conditions, and regulatory filings. Rates are not determined at the local agency level, and we do not increase pricing or add charges to policies. Agency compensation is structured by State Farm, and there is no benefit to delaying a cancellation, as it is a direct violation of my agency and the enterprise. We operate with integrity and transparency, and I welcome the opportunity to discuss this directly if you would like to connect."

"After I cancelled my policy due to crazy increases they still deducted $640 out of my av king and have yet to give it back. When you inquire about the rates and express your concerns they just tell you to go look somewhere else. They don’t even try to work with you. They couldn’t care less if you stay with State Farm or not and it’s not like I have a terrible driving record or a large amount of claims. I have been with this same location since it was ran by Rick Bonham then when Sarah Whiting took over so many things have changed. I understand that everything in world is more expensive these days but you can’t even get a phone call or a response to an email from Sarah Whiting. I have been trying to get reimbursed for the money they auto drafted from my account and Chris in the office says there is nothing else he can do and his answer hasn’t changed. Says I just have to wait until it’s processed. But still I have called numerous time to ask for Sarah and NO response. Terrible customer service … And I was able to go to progressive and get my auto insurance for $110 cheaper a month for the same coverage. I would give 0 stars if I could"

"What an absolute joke statefarm is. First I canceled my auto about a year ago because they continously upped my monthly. Now I just got a text saying my home owners was jumping UP $1800 ! These people can't give a courtesy call, text or email saying anything about the rise in rates ? What a absolute joke. If I could give them less than one star I would."

"Brittaney S. has been my go to girl for insurance for a while now. I recommend her and this establishment to just about any one who asks! Great rates and great customer service. She ensures my questions are always answered and my rates have never gone up or differed from what she tells me they are going to be. I have also dealt with Samantha M. in the office and she is so amazing and kind. I will never get insurance anywhere else!"

"I haven't been with them long. I am disappointed that I wasn't told about some ways I could get discounts, like the drive safe app. I'm also not happy that I added a vehicle over the weekend, stressed that I wanted a higher deductible and yet the agent set it at the $500 level I said I did not want. In the past, I got repeat calls while I was at work and at the hospital (no letter, text or email) over an adult child of mine that they thought might need to be added to my policy. They could have emailed me about that, not called me more than my own Mother. lol. I'm not all that impressed by the SF website either but their prices are decent so I can't give them less than 4 stars."

"This place is terrible, they don't help much when trying to figure out why my rate goes up 150 dollars a month each time I renew. I don't think paying 470 a month for one vehicle is right. When you try to ask for Sarah Whiting she is never there, and she won't respond to emails either."
